Are you a licensed electrical contractor in Ontario?
Yes. FAZE Electric holds ECRA/ESA licence #7014503, which you can verify on the Electrical Safety Authority's public contractor lookup. Every job is done by licensed and qualified electricians and is inspected to the Ontario Electrical Safety Code.
What areas do you serve?
Toronto and the surrounding GTA: North York, Scarborough, Etobicoke, Vaughan, Markham, Richmond Hill, Mississauga, Brampton, Pickering, Ajax and Oakville.
Do you do residential work, or only commercial?
Both. We do residential and custom homes as well as commercial work. Homeowners come to us for panel upgrades, EV chargers, new circuits, lighting and renovation wiring. Builders and property managers come to us for base building, distribution, controls and service coverage.
How much does it cost to upgrade an electrical panel in Toronto?
It depends on the existing service size, the panel location, and whether the service entrance and meter base also need work. We give a written, itemised price with the exclusions stated plainly, so there are no surprises. Send us photos of your existing panel and we can scope it quickly.
How long does it take to get a quote?
Within two business days. For a straightforward residential job we can often price from photos and a phone call. For a project we review the drawing set or tender package and walk the site with you first.
Do you install EV chargers at home?
Yes. We install home EV chargers for all major brands, including the service and load calculation behind them. If your panel does not have the capacity, we will tell you up front what the upgrade involves rather than discovering it on installation day.
Do you take on tendered and drawing-set work?
Yes. We price from electrical drawings and tender packages, coordinate with the other trades on site, and hand over documented, labelled distribution with as-builts.
Do I need a permit for electrical work?
Most electrical work in Ontario requires a notification to the Electrical Safety Authority, and as a licensed contractor we take care of it. The work is then inspected by the ESA, which is what gives you a documented, code-compliant installation rather than an unverifiable one.
Do you offer emergency or same-day service?
Call us and we will tell you honestly what we can fit in. We are a small licensed crew rather than a call centre, so you get a straight answer about timing instead of a booking you cannot rely on.
